Our pool is member-owned—you are part of what keeps it open, safe, and affordable for everyone.
Hillside exists because neighbors show up for one another.
Volunteering just a little time each season makes a massive difference.
How Giving Of Your Time Protects the Pool
When we work together, we keep our community strong. For example, our Bingo volunteers are the reason we’ve been able to handle major repairs—like a new pump and $15,000 in boiler work— without ever having to ask members for a “special assessment” fee or sudden price hike.
Ways You Can Help-Volunteer
Volunteering doesn’t have to be a big commitment.
A few hours here and there keeps our home away from home running smoothly:
Bingo Sessions: Help at a session or spend an hour prepping during the week. (Our biggest financial lifesaver!)
Pool Clean-up Days: Help us get the grounds ready for summer.
Concession Support: Picking up or delivering supplies.
How Volunteering Affects Dues
To keep things fair for everyone, members who volunteer are rewarded with lower annual dues. Those who are unable to give their time contribute a higher fee to help cover the costs of the work others are doing. (Note: Our senior members are exempt from the price increase and volunteer requirements.)
Thank you for helping keep Hillside a special place for everyone!
