Welcome to Hillside Swim Team

Since our pool first opened in 1959, Hillside has been a proud part of the Greeley summer swim community.

We are honored to be entering our 66th season, making us one of the oldest traditions in Northern Colorado.

For us, those years represent decades of friendship, growth, and a deep respect for the sport.

Our Philosophy

At Hillside, our focus is on building confident, happy swimmers.

Whether your child is learning their first length or is a seasoned competitor, our goal is to teach proper stroke technique in an environment that values the swimmer as a young person growing up, not just as a time on a scoreboard.

To us, the true meaning of a successful season isn’t found in a final time or a place ribbon. It’s found in friendships built in the heating area, in cheering for teammates, and in believing they can do more than they thought they could.

We strive to develop a lifelong love of the sport and create summers so meaningful that when our swimmers become adults, they look back and say,

“I loved my time on the team at Hillside.”

Registration is open for the 2026 season

Your swimmer must be registered before the swimmer(s) may enter the water for their first practice.
Planning to Transfer? We love seeing new faces in the lanes! Just a quick reminder that per league rules (CSCSA), swimmers transferring from another team must finish their final practice there by May 15th to be eligible to compete with Hillside this summer.

Team Communication: The Band Page

Our primary way of sharing meet results and practice updates is through our Team Band Page.

To keep our team community private and secure, we do not post our Band link on the public internet. Since we know many of our families have different last names or are joining us for the first time, we personally verify each request.

Practice & Meet Schedules

Practices are held weekday mornings starting May 26th. While we are proud of our team, we believe that our children’s daily schedules should not be a matter of public record. Because the internet is a public space, we choose to keep our specific timing and locations private to our Hillside families.
Accessing the Schedule: Detailed age-group practice times and meet schedules are available exclusively via our private Team Band page. Registered families will receive an invitation to join this secure group, ensuring our team information stays where it belongs—within our community.

Team Wear

The Team Store is open! Each family must be on the roster and once you are added to the page, you will be sent an email, and then you will order directly from them.

Team Suits: You are responsible for ordering and paying through the online store. Suits are delivered directly to your home.
- This new system saves our coaches hours of manual sorting and recording!
- Team suit is on the Swim Outlet page. Order early, they will run out of the suit by the end of April.
Team Shirts & Hoodies: Ordered through GoJo’s online store. A store link will be put on Band for these items, and the items may be picked up at the pool.
Bingo Volunteers: Please work with Tylene for suit orders. Your credits will apply to registration and meet fees first.

How to measure your child for suits:

For boys, measure around the waist. Round to the nearest even number. If the measurement is 27, then get a size 26 or 28 suit will fit. If you measure a 28 get a size 28
Girls: Measure around the ribs under the bust. If your child measures a 27 get a size 26 or 28. If measures a 28, get a 28 or a 30.
