Keeping Hillside Safe & Fun

Check-In: Please check in at the front desk when you arrive. No need to sign out!
Clean Air Zone: Hillside is a tobacco-free, marijuana-free, and vape-free environment.
Health & Safety: Littles not potty trained must wear a swim diaper. Regular diapers burst in the water and cause pool closures.
Deck & Board: No running on the deck. One person and one bounce on the diving board at a time.
Our Lifeguards: All of our guards are Lifeguard certified, carefully screened, and complete youth safety and concussion awareness training before ever stepping onto the stand. They are part of the Hillside community, and we hold them to a high standard to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every family.

PARKING

Park Smart: Be a good neighbor! Colorado Law and City Code require staying at least 5 feet from any driveway and 15 feet from fire hydrants. Neighbors will call for a tow if driveways are blocked.

The Pool is part of a neighborhood. Be kind and keep all driveways and fire hydrants clear and accessible. The neighbors, will call a tow truck if you block their driveway because they can't leave their home.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Hillside is not a public pool. It is member-owned.

Your membership fee allows your family to enjoy the pool all summer long. It helps cover lifeguards who keep everyone safe, chemicals that keep the water clean, heat to maintain a comfortable temperature, and electricity to keep the pumps running so the water stays fresh and circulating.

Because Hillside is member-owned, we don’t have a city budget behind us. We cover the rising cost of operating the pool through membership dues, our weekly fundraising event, and other ways to help out.

Rates will adjust in 2027.
To continue protecting and maintaining the pool for the next generation, membership rates will increase in 2027.

Final 2027 rates have not yet been officially set, and all membership categories will see adjustments. Full details will be shared once approved.

Volunteering can lower your 2027 cost.
Members will have the opportunity to reduce their 2027 rate by volunteering.

Volunteer hours completed between May 2026 and the last Sunday of April 2027 may be applied toward lowering your 2027 membership cost. This includes summer 2026 opportunities such as concession support office membership updating, as well as off-season opportunities like bingo sessions, bingo prep, fall clean-up days (if scheduled), snow shoveling, and other maintenance projects.

Please note: Work Day hours in spring 2026 apply to 2026 dues, not 2027.

Don’t wait until the last second of April 2027 to find ways to volunteer.
Volunteer opportunities will be offered throughout the year. We encourage members to participate early rather than waiting until the last minute, as some opportunities may fill and your chance to reduce your 2027 rate could be limited. With nearly a full year of chances to help, most families can find a few times that fit their schedule.

Specific details on how volunteer credits will work are being finalized and will be shared soon.
